Salary thresholds highly skilled migrants, Blue Card holders and recent graduates 2022

The new salary thresholds for highly skilled migrants, Blue Card holders and recent graduates (in the Netherlands or at a top 200 university) have been announced.

Per 1 January 2022 the following salary thresholds apply, gross per month excluding 8% holiday allowance:

  • Highly skilled migrants of 30 years or older: € 4.840,-

  • Highly skilled migrants younger than 30: € 3.549,-

  • Recent graduates: € 2.543,-

  • Blue Card holders: € 5.670,-

The foregoing applies to all applications submitted on or after 1 January 2022.
