(Provisional) Salary thresholds highly skilled migrants and Blue Card holders 2025

The salary thresholds for highly skilled migrants and Blue Card holders are adjusted annually. We can hereby inform you already about the provisional salary thresholds for 2025. The final amounts are officially published at the end of the calendar year.

Per 1 January 2025 the following salary thresholds will apply, gross per month excluding 8% holiday allowance:

• Highly skilled migrants of 30 years or older: € 5.688,-

• Highly skilled migrants younger than 30: € 4.171,-

• Highly skilled migrants after orientation year: € 2.989,-

• European Blue Card holders: € 5.688,-  

• European Blue Card holders within three years after graduating from higher education EUR 4.551

The foregoing applies to all applications submitted on or after 1 January 2025.
